Alpaca Fiber

Alpaca fiber is found naturally in 22 distinct colors.  The fiber can also be blended to produce an infinite array of natural colors.  The fiber is usually strong and resilient, and does not diminish in strength as it becomes more fine.  The alpaca has developed more thermal capacity in its fiber than most any animal.  the fiber contains microscopic air pockets which create lightweight garments with high inculation values.  People who own alpaca sweaters will find they are ever lasting.  Alpaca wear does not easily tear, pull, stain, or create static, and is machine washable.  The fiber is warmer than wool, softer than cashmere, silkier than mohair, and hypoallergenic.
